UPDATEVeteran Viner Bodhi1 Welcomes a New Addition to His Family Today

Today, Bodhi1 is witnessing and assisting in the labor and delivery of his 5th child. It doesn't seem that long ago that we congratulated Bodhi1 and helped to welcome Reagan Rae to the world. On his blog this morning he says he does not yet know if the child is a boy or a girl. How exciting!! I am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear. He asks that we send prayers and good positive thoughts to him and his wife and child today.

So, send all good things to Bodhi1 and his family today and I will update this article as new news comes in.

Congratulations, Bodhi!! We are thinking of you.

Jacob Michael was born 8lbs 14 oz! He is beautiful!

Bodhi1: Don't be surprised if your wife does something, well...a bit strange during the delivery, and if she does, don't let it upset you.

When my first daughter was born, I was also in the delivery room holding my wife's hand and doing the Lamaze thing. At the critical moment, my wife shouted this out to me:

'YOU did this to me, you S.O.B.!'

Except she did not abbreviate.

No kidding. And I was MORTIFIED, and embarrassed. Later, when we held the baby together in the recovery room she didn't even remember saying it and everything was lovey-dovey and 'isn't she just beautiful!' (The baby)

The nurses were nonplussed, but my face was beet-red. The nurses patted me on the arm and said, 'Don't worry. That's normal sometimes...'
