I have to admit that I drank decaf coffee for several months each time I was pregnant. I just didn't have the stomach for regular coffee, but what was a cafe-lurking girl to do!?
Being pregnant put me off anything with a strong chemical effect, particularly in the early stages. Even canned tomatoes were hard to eat, maybe because of the lycopene, although it's supposed to be beneficial as an anti-oxidant.
Anyway, post-babies decaf really didn't do it, flavour-wise. Tastes yukky really! I probably should've had hot chocs or tea : )
